Suryadatta Student of Interior Designing received first rank in Maharashtra of YCMOU Interior Designing Course

Also two students received fifth rank in University across Maharashtra

Suryadatta Institute of Vocational and Advanced Studies, SIVAS offers round the year value additions through series of events, exhibitions, field work, live projects, soft skills trainings, seminars and various indoor and outdoor activities and thus prepare student to be successful in global market place.

SIVAS is established in the year 2010 and upto now over 400+ students has successfully completed their course and working successfully across the globe many of them became entrepreneurs and started their own Business.

This year also three students of Suryadatta Institute of Vocational and Advanced Studies, SIVAS is proud to announce that 3 students of Diploma in Interior design and decoration (DIDD) from the Yashwantrao Chawhan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) stood in the merit list in the University.

CONGRATULATIONS to Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration (DIDD) Students for Succesfully completion of Academics!

  1. Priya Pawar - First rank in university across Maharashtra - with 90.5%
  2. Surbhi Ojha - Fifth rank in university across Maharashtra - with 83.67%
  3. Aditya Mundhada - Fifth rank in university across Maharashtra - with 83.67%

Ms. Priya Pawar University first rank also got selected in MPSE Examination for the post of Project officer in Barty. Management had offered special scholarship for her as great source of inspiration for all the students.

A National Level Seminar titled Role of Strategic Planning in Organizational Transformation

A Two-day Pune University National Level Seminar was organized under the initiative of Suryadatta Education Foundation’s, Suryadatta Institute of Business Management and Technology, Pune recently. The theme of the Seminar was “Role of Strategic Planning in Organizational Transformation”.

Faculty & Research Scholars from different management institutions and Faculty & Students of Suryadatta Institute of Management participated in this seminar.

The program was inaugurated with customary lighting of the lamp by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Suryadatta Education Foundation, Dr Tapan Chatterjee, Senior Advisor, Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Limited, Pune, Prof. Dr.YS Vaishampayan, Director - Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication and Technology Prof. (Dr.) Pralay Kumar Ghosh, Programme Director with chanting of the Saraswati Vandana by the students of Suryadatta.

Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Suryadatta Education Foundation welcomed the participants and highlighted the needs of changing the mindset of oneself in tune with changing environment.

This was followed by the session of Dr Tapan Chatterjee who spoke on “Strategic Management - Perspectives and Concepts" citing several examples from corporate. He opined that Business is like riding a bi-cycle – Keep paddling or else it will Stop.

Mr Sanjay Runwal, Chairman, Runwal Constructions Group, Pune was the key note speaker for the seminar. While speaking on the theme of the seminar - Role of Strategic Planning in Organizational Transformation – he dwelt upon on similar concepts of transformation, namely Restructuring and Reengineering. He further highlighted the need and importance of Strategic Planning in today’s rapidly changing business environment.

The post-lunch session was devoted to paper presentations by various Research Scholars.

An array of Speakers from Industry and Academics addressed the participants on second day of the Seminar. Mr Sarang Bapat, Senior Executive working in USA made a presentation on “Personal Branding” citing several examples of individual brands. Dr A R Keskar, Advisor (Management Studies), DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, delivered a talk on “Strategic Planning for transformation of Academic Institutes”. Organisational Transformation: Beyond just another change program during turnaround, was the theme of presentation of Prof Ketan Gandhi, Reputed Management Consultant & Accredited Management Teacher. Dr S G Bapat, Recognized Guide for PhD in Commerce and Management spoke on Values of Brand in increasing Sale of Products.

The valedictory address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Suryadatta Education Foundation followed by a Vote of Thanks.

Resounding Success of Suryadatta Group of Institutes Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management Travel and Tourism SCHMTTs Food Festival Street Flavors of Asia

Suryadatta Education Foundation’s Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management Travel and Tourism (SCHMTT) had organized a Food Festival – Street Flavors of Asia on the 14th October 2011 at Krishna Sunder Gardens, Pune. The Food Festival was organized by the Faculty & students of the Hospitality Management. The aim of the food festival was to give the students an experience in organizing functions and therefore covering all aspects of Hospitality Management – Event Management, Marketing, Sales, Function Catering Organization, Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office, Housekeeping & Decoration.

The Festival began with the felicitation of the Guest of Honor Mr. Sudhir Andrews and Venue partner, Mr. Amit Gaikwad, along with Prof. Dr. Sanjay B Chordiya.

The food festival was divided into 4 sections – Indian, South East Asian, China & Middle Eastern. The stalls of the respective sections were named and decorated as per the regions. The uniforms of the students also represented the region. The menu was well researched and extensive with over 52 different dishes.

The Food Festival took the guests on a culinary journey where they experienced the ambience, and savored the street food of the bustling streets of Delhi’s Chandani Chowk, the busy Racha Market of Thailand and the lively streets of China, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia. It also took them on a tour of the streets of the mystic Middle East – Yemen, UAE and Iran, for a taste of the same.

Entertainment was also provided to the guests as the students presented various dance performances from the 4 regions, National Dance of Yemen, and flaring demonstration of bottles and fire.

Over 500 people attended the festival. The Food Festival was a resounding success and the efforts of the Faculty & students were highly appreciated.

The Food Festival was organized along with Maharashtra Times as the media partner and Mr. Amit Gaikwad, Owner Krishna Sunder Gardens as the venue partner.
