SCHMTT Alumni Meet 2020
18th February was indeed a great day at SGI’s SCHMTT. The students of SCHMTT held Alumni Meet and Farewell for SPPU students. The event
was based on the casino theme. During the event, students interacted with each other & alumni were felicitated. Also, final year students were
awarded for various achievements in games and entertainment activities.


Shiv Jayanti celebration at Suryadatta National School (SNS)
On the occasion of 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗷𝗶 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶, 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹'𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 dressed up wearing traditional Maharashtrian attires, while some came
dressed as the Great Maratha Warrior, Shivaji Maharaj. Students took the opportunity to speak about the military expedition of the great warrior
and his able commanders.


Suryadatta National School Sports Day 2020.
The much awaited Annual Sports Day of the Suryadatta National School was held on Thursday 13th February 2020, with great zeal,
excitement and frolicsome atmosphere at the campus of the Suryadatta National School. Prof (Dr) Sanjay B Chordiya, Chairman of
the Suryadatta Group of Institutes opened the Sports Meet and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life. He succinctly
brought out how sports inculcate diverse virtues like, Discipline, Team spirit, Esprit de corps etc in a child. Dr R Ramachandran,
Chief Development Officer of the Suryadatta Group of Institute was also present on the occasion.
The students right from the Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary participated in different events from 100m/60m race, Three legged race,
Paper Race, Ready and Run etc. Some of the events mainly indoor games like Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis etc were conducted
beforehand. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Fun time with
a staff tug- of- war and the same between the houses added to the enjoyment. The Best House Trophy and the overall champion
trophy was awarded to the Additya House.

As a part of the Global Immersion program, PGDM students of SIMMC of batch 2019-21 visited Singapore. The program included 4 weeks of an internship opportunity with Singapore based start-ups . During this study tour, they visited Unilever and Google headquarters, Urban Redevelopment Authority visitor center, National Design Center, National Library of Singapore, National University & Marina Barrage. In addition to this, students were awarded a certificate from the company.

Suryadatta National School (SNS) organized Annual Day 2019 on 21st December 2019. The theme of the event was
'Time Odyssey". It was executed by portrayal of the transformationof mankind from the stone ages to the age of Robotics.
The event was very succesful and highly appreciated by the parents.



SCMIRT students organized program on 'Minorities Rights Day' on 18th December 2019. The participation and program
was overwhelming.

KISAN Agri Show 2019-20.
SCMIRT Team visited the Kisan Agri Show December 2019 at Moshi Pune. Kisan Agri show is the largest agricultural exhibition organized every year in Pune.
25 students registered for the visit . Students who are good at research were shortlisted through interviews for this survey of farmers coming all over India
in this exhibition. Questionnaires prepared given to them to fill. On Saturday 14th December 2019.

Suryadatta National School (SNS) field trip visit to Chitranjan Vatika for students of Pre-Primary to Std IV
We at SNS, arranged a field trip on Thursday, 12th of December 2019, to Chittaranjan Vatika for students of Pre-Primary to Std.IV.
The students and teachers took a walk amidst the nature looking at different types of trees around. Children were excited to see bird house
on almost every tree and very curious to know when do the birds come in their house to sleep.
Students were then taken to the play area which was well maintained and clean. They thoroughly enjoyed playing on the outdoor equipments
with their friends.
After merrily playing with friends, students relished their mouth watering tiffins. They also enjoyed a wonderful photo session with teachers
and friends in the beautiful and serene nature. With a bag full of memories, students returned to the school.


PGDM Students Of Suryadatta Institute Of Management participate In An Adventure Cum Team Building Trip
A trip for PGDM students of 2019-21 batch was organized to 29018 Adventure Camp. The students started at around 9 am and reached there in an hour.
A journey of 35 kms through a scenic route took the group to Avanti Kalagram where a hot breakfast awaited them.
In the first activity the students were divided into 3 groups and asked to name the group with a group slogan. It was treasure hunt with lots of physical exercise.
This activity taught them time management and also managing energy levels.
The second activity was less physical and more intellectual and taught them how to plan strategies, manage time and work in groups. The aim of outbound leadership
programme was to learn all the management skills. This programme also tightened the course bond and the students were given some leisure time at the
end of the day. Some of them swam, while some explored the place.
The evening debrief brought the day to an end. During the debrief, the important management lessons learnt were reiterated.

Childrens Day Celebration at Suryadatta National School


Suryadatta Education Foundation had organized an interesting session on “Role of Youth in Nation Building” on 8th of November 2019 at the
Suryadatta Campus, Bavdhan.
The session was mainly focused on “Motivation and Personality development for Youth”. Our chairman, Dr. Prof. Sanjay Chordiya sir took an initiative step
to encourage our students to share their view points on what role they can play in daily life to improve the environment among us and their contribution
towards society. The programme began by offering 2mins silence to Mr. Arvind Inamdar, Former DGP of Maharashtra.
Ms.Sonali Chordiya, addressed the students by providing them insights on Visit to Switzerland. The visit was specifically organized to conduct Leadship
Building Activities along with various snow related fun activities in Geneva.
Mrs. Prema Patil, Former Mrs.INDIA and Assisstant Police Officer from the Police Commissionerate department was invited as a special guest to provide
awareness on safety measures for the youth. She addressed the students and assured them to reply on the police department for any kind for security or mental-support
with the helpline numbers. She explained the youth that they live in a free India and they shall not be judged just by what they wear but only by their achievements and
they have the right to speak and vote based on their choice of views. She advised the students to stay “Focused on the Goals” throughout their life.
Ms.Vijaya Karande, who is a senior Police Inspector of Bharosa Cell, Crime Branch, gave life-awakening examples to the youth regarding crimes committed against
women. She persuaded the students to stay alert and inform the Police regarding any support or any crime witnessed around them.

ALL as a part of Suryadatta Edu-Socio Connect Initiative
Suryadatta Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) organized a Free health check up camp open for all on 18th October 2019 at the campus in
association with leading medical practitioners of Pune.
The main checkups conducted were in this camp is Dental by Dr Deepali Kolte & team, Full Eye checkup by Dr Aslam & team,
Blood test (Sugar & Hemoglobin) by Dr Deepak Patil & team,Heart (ECG if required) by Dr Suhas Erande & team. Those in need were
given expert advice and counseling by the concerned doctors on the required lifestyle changes to be made and also any medical
consultation procedure to be undertaken.
This is a part of Suryadatta Edu–Socio connect initiative, wherein such camps are organized from time to time and many such camps have
been planned in future for the society, students and faculty tackling various life style issues, dealing with physical, mental and emotional health.
These programmes aim to make a difference in the lives of thousands of citizens, allowing them to lead a healthier lifestyle and contribute
to national growth.
Ms Priti Joseph Victor, Founder president Divine Cause Social Foundation graciously accepted to be the chief guest for the event.

avail of this opportunity.


Blood Donation is as important of life- Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya addressed at the Suryadatta Institute.
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary, a large blood donation camp was organized on behalf of the Suryadatta Group
of Institutes under the 'Let's add blood' relationship. About 80 people donated blood to this blood donation camp. The blood bank support of
Sahyadri Superspecialty Hospital was supported for this camp.
Ram Bangad, who donated blood 130 times, guided the donors. Abhay Shastri, Deputy Governor of Lions Club International,
Hemant Naik, Founder Chairman of Suryadatta Group of Institutes as the chief guest. Sanjay Chordia, Vice President Sushma Chordia
were present.




Eco-Elite forum- "Celebrate Micro Economics"
Eco -Elite forum conducted its first program of the year 2019-20 on 28th September 2019. It was a role play
titled "Celebrate Micro Economics" organized by PGDM students.
The Eco Elite Economic Forum is a student ' organisation meant to serve as a link for students, faculty, and the
community through a shared interest in economics. Forum undertakes various modes of programs through which
knowledge sharing takes place.
All the PGDM students presented a skit, "Celebrate Microeconomics" which highlighted key micro economic concepts
which were a finely interwoven with day today real life situations. The program was designed by the
PGDM students under the guidance of Dr. Medha Deshmukh.

National Symposium on Cyber Intelligence for A Secure Digital World, Cyber Crime 360⁰ - 3 dimensional perspectives
Suryadatta Group of Institutes organised a National Symposium on Cyber Intelligence for a Secure Digital World
Panel Discussion on “Institute to Industry – A Metamorphosis”.
- The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Sambhaji Kadam, Dy Chief commissioner of Police, EOW who explained to the delegates present how the data
posted innocuously on social media can be used by cyber criminals. He was honoured with Suryadatta National Cyber Intelligence Awards 2019 for his contribution
in fighting cyber crimes.
- The keynote speaker Shri. Jayram Paigude, Sr Police Inspector Cyber police Station Pune gave valuable tips on cyber security and privacy and also shared his experience
and role in cracking the Cosmos Bank Cyber attack case.
- The first resource person to start the technical session was Shri. Sandip P Gadiya, Cyber Crime Investigator & Cyber Forensic Expert. He shared numerous examples of
how the data on our smartphones can be used to compromise our security and privacy.
- This was followed by a session by Adv Rajas Pingle, International Cyber Law Expert about data protection, data theft, credit card frauds and
how to take precautions against these.
- The speakers in the afternoon session included Dr Harold D’Costa, President – Cyber Security Corporation and Adv Prashant Mali, International Cyber Law & Privacy law Expert.
- The closing session was addressed by Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale (Retd) PVSM, AVSM, VSM. He informed the students how the future wars
are going to be “Wars without Frontiers’ and would be fought mostly in the cyber space.
- The valedictory address was deliverd by Lt Gen DB Shekatkar (Retd) PVSM, AVSM, VSM who brought out the importance of education for the
youth as they are the future of the nation.

“Institute to Industry – A Metamorphosis” for MBA & PGDM Students on Saturday 21st September 2019. The Programme is facilitated

floral tributes to him on Engineers Day
Suryadatta National School celebrated Engineers Day in a befitting manner by paying tribute to M Visvesvraya by taking part in an elocution wherein
budding and aspiring engineers elaborated on their reasons for opting for the profession.
Mokshagudam Visvesvaraya, a scholar, statesman, educationist and the most celebrated engineer in India was born on 15th September 158 years ago.
This day every year since 1968, is celebrated as the Engineers Day in India to recognise the contribution of engineers’ in the development of the nation.
Professor Dr Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman Suryadatta Group of Institutes, himself a Mechanical Engineer from the renowned COEP, said
“Engineers are the true architects of Modern India and will bring true the vision of Smart cities. Indian Engineers have carved a niche for themselves globally
and have contributed immensely to the technology advanced countries leaving their indelible mark on modern World.”

Suryadatta Public School (SPS) U-19 Girls Basketball Team stands First in Pune District Level Tournament for 2nd Year.
Our students too have always done us proud by winning various awards, medals and rankings in a wide variety of sports. Carrying forward this winning tradition,
Suryadatta publicSchool U-19 girls team stood first in the Pune district Level games organised by the Jilha Krida Adhikari & Jilha Krida Sankul.
Suryadatta public School U-19 Girls Basketball team comprised of Rukmini Salodkar (XI Arts),Tanvi Panse (XI Arts), Ovee Gadkari (XI Arts), Sparsh Save (XI Arts), Avani Kumthekar (XII Arts), Riya Kandhare (XII Arts), Ojaswi Ajwani (XII Arts)and Tanvi Malkainekar (XII Arts). They won the semi finals against St Ann Talegaon (5-35) and beat Prodigy, Wagholi in the finals (3-35). They will now represent Pune district in Division level Competetion.

in 35th Maharashtra State Junior Athletics Championship organised by Maharashtra Athletics Association.

Hindi Diwas celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Suryadatta Junior College (SJC) and Suryadatta National School (SNS)
Suryadatta Junior College celebrated “ Hindi Diwas” on 14th September 2019 with great fervour and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with singing of the national Anthem and lighting of the ceremonial lamp. It was chaired by the principal of Suryadatta Junior College. On this occasion qa lively programme was presented by the staff and students consisting of Hindi essays, writing, poems, speeches, skits and quizzes highlighting the importance of Hindi as effective medium of communicating to the masses. The programme ended with prize distribution.
Hindi Diwas was also celebrated in a befitting manner at the Surydatta National School. A Special Assembly with a host of activities was conducted to celebrate the day. Students enthusiastically participated in diverse activities like Reciting Poems, Singing Group songs as well as solo songs in Hindi. They also presented a relevant Skit outlining the value and importance of Hindi in the present context apart from participating in a Slogan making competition.

Suryadatta National School organized a fun-filled and informative fieldtrip for the Pre-Primary Section
to Pu.La. Deshpande garden on Friday, 28th June 2019.Children were mesmerized to see the serene
beauty of the nature while taking a walk along the lush green lawns. Teachers showed them different
types of plants, trees and the beautiful landscape around. They explained the importance of taking
care of our environment. Children thoroughly enjoyed the rains out in the garden wearing their
La Classe Annual Runway Show 2019 organised on 8 Feb 2019 at Bavdhan Campus.

A Global Symposium on “Challenges of 21 Century” was held at Suryadatta Educations Foundations Bavdhan Campus on Saturday 17 February, 2018 The titled Symposium was attended by delegates from countries like United Kingdom, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Morocco, Nigeria, Italy, USA, Jordan, Germany, Malaysia, Denmark, Afghanistan, Turkey and India. The Panellists for this symposium included: Lord Alderdice, John, United Kingdom; Dr Danilo Türk, Slovenia; Dr Mustafa Ceric, Bosnia & Herzegovina; Dr Assia Bensalah Alaoui, Morocco; Mr Ayodele Aderinwale, Nigeria and Dr Sundeep Waslekar was the Moderator. The delegates deliberated on challenges of 21st Century, among others, the main challenges facing the globe and deliberated upon include global concerns like water, air and quality of life. Water refers to “clean water” and air refers to “fresh air”

Suryadatta Education Foundation have organized our Annual Exhibition “ Aura 2017”.
Every year PlAT students and faculty members organise a mega event "AURA" 2017 - a theme based exhibition in the last week of December. During the exhibition student exhibit their projects, models, paintings, handicraft and portfolios. This event is open for all puneites, has been receiving tremendous response every year. Many profeesionals visit AURA regularly. This is most awaited event for all the students and faculty members.
The grand opening of exhibition was done by artist Murli Lahoti in the presence of Mr. Vijay Kolhe Asst. Dy. Secretary of MSBTE of Pune region, Eminent interior photographer Mr. Anand Devadkar, our founder & Chairman Dr. Sanjay Chordiya & Mrs. Sushma Chordiya.
From last 13 years we have done different themes like railway station, Ajanta caves, village life style, joint family etc. This year the theme is reuse and recycles waste material along with the underwater life.
In his chief guest speech Artist Murli Lahoti explained us that failure is also a success and that failure experience is very important for success.
Mr. Vijay Kolhe explained MSBTE courses & their importance. He also emphasised on waste material & pollution as a world wide problem. It is very important to pay attention towards the growing needs of human race, due to which the major problem of waste management is arising. Interior Designing is very important & creative profession. These professional must understand requirements of client & fulfill them to the best of their ability.
Mr. Anand Diwadkar spoke about the importace of interior designing and also its proper execution.
Many students passed out from Suryadatta Education Foundation, PIAT are very successful in the profession and a lot of site done by these students have been captured in his camera.
Dr. Sanjay Chordiya he spoke underwater theme from different concept. The theme represent the world wide problem of pollution & waste material & team work, well planning achieve the execution.

"The Times of India in collaboration with OPPO launched OPPO Times Fresh Face 2017 contest for the students"
Times Fresh Face 2017 contest for the students of the selected few top colleges in the city, binding them across streams on to a common platform, to identify the best male and female student Fresh Face of Pune. It is an inter-college & inter-city talent hunt.
The competition has received tremendous support across the nation. It provides an opportunity for the youth to showcase their talent and skills and to be featured in The Times of India publications and website.
The competition is split into four phases – Auditions, Semi-Finals, Grooming and Grand Finale. The auditions phase will be held in the respective college premises, based on which, two male and two female participants from each college would be chosen for semi-finals.
After the semi-finals, the chosen finalists will be put through a common personality grooming phase before they compete with each other in a grand finale, and the final winner will be titled the Fresh Face of Pune.
"Fresher's Party for MBA and PGDM Batch 2017 - 19"


Fresher’s Party for MBA and PGDM Batch 2017-19 was organized on Saturday, 9th September 2017, in Bansi Ratna Auditorium in the presence of Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, Dean Academics. Students of PGDM and MBA as well as all the teaching staff of PGDM and MBA were present for the party.
Students participated in various management games. Students were asked to answer some questions and for correct answer they were given gifts. One small game of communication was played. Students were paired in group of two and were asked to have conversation. They were asked to speak for five minutes about their friend. Best pair was selected and given the prize. A game of treasure hunt was played by the students. A game of memory ability was played. This game was introduced and directed by Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya Sir. Students were asked to remember the fruit names and call out fruit names serially.
Students participated in ramp walk. There were some dance performances. Some students presented themselves by singing a song. Prof. Khushali Oza, Dr. Kirti Dang, Prof. Archana Lahoti and Prof. Sushant Chaterji judged and selected the best players for the Management Games, Ramp Walk as well as Best Dress and Best Personality competition. Pranita Datey (MBA 1st year) and Kunal Sahani (PGDM 1st year) won the title of best dress. Best personality prize was won by Anagha Chandran and Somnath Habib. Best talent prize was won by Kajol and Yash Arate.
Akshay Jain (MBA First Semester) and Ayushi Singh (PGDM First Semester) were selected as Mr. and Ms. Fresher respectively and were presented with awards by Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, Dean Academics. The party ended with dinner.
