Suryadatta Education Foundation's one-step towards the Edu-Socio an initiative under Asset banks
Pune: The Suryadatta Education Foundation has come up with a innovate concept of Asset Bank which will be governed and function under the various sister program courses of the Suryadatta Groups of Institutes including the hotel management, fashion technology, Research-Innovation Center, Mass Communication, Business Management-Technology and other courses for not only enhancing the student's skills by getting first-hand experiences as well as at the same time it will be helpful for the socio-economic strata of society by aiding them in a different mode of lifestyle in this pandemic crisis.
The Asset Bank has been set up by Suryadatta Education Foundation with the inspiration and blessings of the late Ratnabai and Bansilal Chordia under the Suryadatta Group's to bridge the Edu-Socio Connect Initiative with an aim, to offers various voluntary skill-based modules, awareness programs, free of cost education to the needy, deserving, economically deprived strata of the society as well as the families members from farmers, Defence Forces, Public Servants, loyal employees of the organization and to the Divyang youth through its Voluntary institutes. These institutes will give additional Value added certification programs for various students on a voluntary basis initiative served to society. The Asset banks have come up with the structural five institutionalized volunteering the Asset Banks including the Suryadatta Food Bank, the Suryadatta Clothing Bank, the Suryadatta Products Bank, the Suryadatta Knowledge Bank, and the Suryadatta Business Bank
Sushma Chordia, Vice President and Secretary, Suryadatta Group explaining the model said that "This initiative will be benefited for all the strata of communities especially considering the pandemic issues that have aroused with crises in which three basic necessities of each individual are on the stake that is food, clothing, and shelter as well as financial stability."
She went on, "This social activity will commence from 15th August on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day. The concept aroused considering the current pandemic critical situation crises that our society is undergoing and the Founder President of Suryadatta Group Dr. Sanjay Chordia is credited to be the thinking tank of this asset bank concept. This project will be run under the core team members comprise of Dr. Shailesh Kasande, Dr. Vijayalakshmi, Dr. Shefali Joshi, Ulhas Chaudhary, Ajit Shinde, Mandar Diwane, Renuka Ghospurkar, Monica Karve, Snehal Navlakha, Dr. Ram Chandra, and others will be working on it. This will be a two-way process where our students will get first-hand experiences of dealing with people's needs and on the other hand, people's needs will be fulfilled."
Through Suryadatta Food Bank, the food arrangement will be provided to the needy including NGOs, wage labourers, street dwellers. The food donation will be carried on the occasion of birthdays of Suryadatta's office bearers and relatives, as well as various other important days. And the other necessary essentials goods will also be provided to them.
Collection of usable clothes through Clothing Bank, as well as new clothes, used clothes and also warm clothes arrangements will be provided to the people who are in need of it by our Fashion technology students. The clothes will be gathered, washed, dyed, and distributed by students and teachers. This will help the needy living in an orphanage, women shelter homes, old age homes, and others. This initiative will be a continuous project and will be carried on a regular base."
All types of thrashed, scrap recyclable products will be collected through Suryadatta Product Bank. It will be given to the people in need after making and modifying it into a product that can be used again after making it manually in working condition bases. We are also focusing on providing academic educational books like textbooks, reference books, books for the library, notebooks, and other stationery materials.
"The Enlightenment of parting education work will be carried Suryadatta under the Knowledge Bank Knowledge of various things will be carried via online and offline courses including the various form of Indian culture values, current affairs information, Q&A, basic education, career assistance and guidance's will be provided to boost the entrepreneur's skills which will be promoting start-ups and small businesses through the Business Bank. The purpose is to motivate startups, and professors, students or other staff in the Suryadatta family will do the work. This will give enhance to SMEs in the state as well as this will mold students towards entrepreneurship," Chordia added.
