Hindi Diwas celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Suryadatta Junior College (SJC) and Suryadatta National School (SNS)
Suryadatta Junior College celebrated “ Hindi Diwas” on 14th September 2019 with great fervour and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with singing of the national Anthem and lighting of the ceremonial lamp. It was chaired by the principal of Suryadatta Junior College. On this occasion qa lively programme was presented by the staff and students consisting of Hindi essays, writing, poems, speeches, skits and quizzes highlighting the importance of Hindi as effective medium of communicating to the masses. The programme ended with prize distribution.
Hindi Diwas was also celebrated in a befitting manner at the Surydatta National School. A Special Assembly with a host of activities was conducted to celebrate the day. Students enthusiastically participated in diverse activities like Reciting Poems, Singing Group songs as well as solo songs in Hindi. They also presented a relevant Skit outlining the value and importance of Hindi in the present context apart from participating in a Slogan making competition.

World Environment Day Celebrations at Suryadatta Group of Institutes –Greening The Blue
Though environment conservation is not just a one-day affair, the United Nations’ message is to inspire people and at the same time, also educate them as to why it is important to conserve the environment. In fact, ever since its inception in 1972, World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year. Each year,World Environment Day has a new theme. This year's World Environment Day 2019 theme is "Beat Air Pollution"
Each Year the Suryadatta Group’s campaign on World Environment Day has laid great emphasis on the need for active conservation efforts.
This year also Suryadatta Group of Institute-Suryadatta College Of Management Information Research and Technology(SCMIRT) celebrated World Environment Day to mark the theme of this year-“Air Pollution”.The day was started by planting trees, planning awareness programmes other activities also include garbage recycling, area clean-up and parades to draw people’s attention towards environmental issues.
To control the air pollution several saplings were planted in the campus by the Dr Abbas Lokhandwala, Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Sharad Patil , ,Prof Deepak Singh and faculties of SCMIRT.
