AURA 2025

The Pune Institute of Applied Technology (PIAT) proudly presents its annual exhibition, AURA — a vibrant showcase capturing the transformative journey of Interior Design students over two years of creativity, innovation, and learning.

Each edition of AURA revolves around a unique theme. For 2025, the exhibition paid tribute to the legendary Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, commemorating the 350th anniversary of his coronation. The theme reimagined his era through the lens of contemporary design.

From initial concept sketches to life-size models, mood boards to technical drawings — the exhibition traced the evolution of a designer from imagination to execution.

As visitors moved through the thoughtfully curated spaces, they encountered installations inspired by majestic forts, royal palaces, and enduring traditions — all reinterpreted with sustainable, modern aesthetics. Every display told a story — a narrative shaped by young designers pushing creative boundaries.

More than just an exhibition, AURA 2025 served as a vibrant dialogue between emerging talent and the professional world. Architects, interior designers, builders, influencers, and product vendors engaged deeply with the work on display, creating invaluable opportunities for networking, internships, and future collaborations.
